Abstract

The inernal combustion engines with opposite pistonspresent the oppornuty to create a dynamic balanced motor mechanism, having a smaller number of cylinders compared to conventional engines. The gas exchange process has a special importance both in the general development of the engine and the development of the combustion chamber. The simulation of the gas exchange process is done by using some simulating programs: GT Power and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
